USD Private (“USDP”) is a blockchain-based digital asset platform built on the Base network that enables users to swap USDC for the USDP token and vice versa through on-chain transactions. The platform provides a web-based interface that allows users to connect a self-custody Web3 wallet and interact with smart contracts that facilitate these transactions.

USDP operates as a closed ecosystem token model. The USDP token is designed so that it can only be transferred and traded through the platform’s integrated trading functionality and cannot be transferred freely through standard wallet-to-wallet ERC token transfers. This design enables the platform to control the mechanics of token issuance, redemption, and trading within the ecosystem.

Users interact with the platform by connecting a supported wallet on the Base Layer-2 network and submitting buy or sell orders to swap USDC and USDP. Transactions are settled on-chain, and pricing is determined through a predefined algorithmic price schedule implemented by the platform’s smart contract and backend systems.

The platform does not custody user assets. Users maintain control of their funds through their connected wallets, and all token swaps ultimately settle through blockchain transactions on the Base network.
